Born a royal princess, heir to the throne of a distant land, Shoshanna was brought up with distinction, never wanting for anything. Well-bred but not particularly well-mannered given the choice, the princess was always restless. A caged bird, if you will. But when the threat of matrimony hung too low over her head, she took action, escaping the castle and making a run for it. On her own, she surely would have been caught and dragged kicking and screaming back to the castle, but she was lucky enough to be intercepted by a thief.
His name is Kurama, and hers Emanuelle. She calls him her brother, and with her hair dark they look alike enough that nobody seems to question it. What's more, she's been learning his trade, and is quite the thief herself, for someone raised in a palace. Complete and utter freedom is her goal, and there's little she won't do to attain it.
